Heidi Nucklaus

DBDC-Heidi NucklausHeidi brings over 25 years of corporate experience to her new role of coach. She is a well respected producer and director of production for a multitude of clients in the advertising industry including ICBC, Vancity, Intrawest, Port Metro Vancouver and WorksafeBC. Through that experience she has acquired a breadth of leadership skills such as motivating cross functional teams, facilitating complex decisions, setting strategy, delegating tasks and training and coaching her production team.

She has managed and lead people for over (16 years). She divides her time between being the Director of Production at Wasserman & Partners Advertising and coaching one on one clients. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and in 2014 added a Grad Certificate in Leadership and Management to her credentials. She now adds Certified Coach to her resume of skills. Having recently gone through a career transition herself she understands the struggles clients face in trying to determine their path. This understanding as well as her credentials, depth of experience and passion for coaching help her produce top results for her clients. Some of her client feedback includes:

“Over the course of the last year, Heidi’s compassionate and authentic approach to coaching has helped me to really examine who I am, what my values are, and the kind of leader I want to be.”

“Heidi was so patient, and encouraging, in helping me identify my core values and how my career and key life decisions were aligned to them. This outcome in itself has been a major win for me and I got that right off the bat.”

Heidi approaches coaching from an authentic, curious and creative place. She firmly believes people have the ability to make change in their lives if they are willing to challenge themselves, ask the tough questions and commit to the outcome no matter how challenging the journey may be. Heidi’s coaching work includes working one-on-one with clients around their challenges at work including team building, communication, leadership, managing conflict as well as adapting to change and ambiguity. She is also co-leading workshops on understanding our core values and why they matter – how they affect our decisions and how we manage conflict. She is also currently developing leadership workshops that focus on leadership within a team environment. She has also taught a Women in Leadership course for Calleam Consulting.

Heidi has completed certification with the Coaches Training Institute, has a Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management from Royal Roads University, a certificate in Project Management from UBC and a diploma in Marketing from BCIT.

Personally, she and her partner Ann have been together 11 years and enjoy entertaining, travel and spending time outdoors. When not coaching or working at Wasserman Heidi can be found in a yoga studio, running the trails in Stanley Park or planning the next trip adventure.

“Heidi was a great help to me as I navigated my career transition. She helped me focus both on my strengths and on defining the alignment of my values and my work. By asking deliberate, thoughtful questions, and giving me the space and time to dig within myself for the answers, Heidi helped me see where I was getting in my own way. With her help, I re-learned to trust my instincts. I also developed tools to help me in my search for new, meaningful work. Heidi is an excellent listener, motivator, and coach. I highly recommend working with her.”
